A Study Of Enterprise Technology Innovation Mode Of China In Middle-income Stage

With the per capita GDP exceeded ＄6,900 in 2013, China has been in the upper-middle-income stage. Facing with the threat of "Middle Income Trap", technology innovation is the key to through "Middle Income Trap" successfully. However, as the main body of technology innovation, China’s enterprise takes the key technology from others generally, with low ability of technology innovation. Upgrading the mode of enterprise technology innovation is helpful to strengthen the ability of enterprise technology innovation and promote the transition of production. Also it’s good for achieving the innovation-driven and crossing "Middle Income Trap" at the high speed.On the basis of domestic and foreign related research, this paper studied the selection of China’s enterprise technology innovation mode in the perspective of middle-income stage. By the method of quantitative analysis, this paper firstly clarify the selection of China’s enterprise technology innovation mode at the present, and find the regional differences and industrial differences of enterprise technology innovation mode. Then this paper focuses on the transformation of China’s enterprise technology innovation mode in the middle-income stage, keep the view that it’s a strengthening process of technology innovation and enterprise technology innovation in the middle-income stage. So with the new changes of demand/factor and competition, the paper studied the reasons that it’s necessary to change the mode of China’s enterprise technology innovation in the middle-income stage, and and have an empirical analysis on the effect of enterprise technology innovation mode by the panel data model. Empirical results show that, comparing with the imitative innovation and cooperative innovation, the innovation mode can speed up the product update and promote the transformation of production and market expansion more effectively. So this paper keep the view that enterprise should take the innovation more seriously nowadays, upgrade the mode of technology innovation. Finally, the paper put forward some means to accelerate enterprise innovation, such as exert the guiding role of government, strengthen the main body awareness of enterprise, and form the platform support of industry-university-research.
