Research On The Network Transformation Of Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China Xinjiang Branch

The disintermediation of finance and acceleration of interest rate liberalization pace as well as the booming of new industries such as internet banking and mobile banking results in the change in customer behavior and market competition environment and the increase in the uncertainty of objectives of commercial banks, making traditional banking to face challenges. Based on Xinjiang branch of ICBC, this paper analyzes operation of networks summarizes various factors affecting the network transformation, researches how to enhance networks competitiveness and operational efficiency, to improve the customer experience and to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty under the circumstance of rapid development of electronics and information, so as to gain a competitive advantage and development.To find the nature of the problem, this paper researches three key issues revolving around network transformation, the first question is: “why does the network transform?” This paper starts with analyzing ICBC channel changes, network status and efficiency, Combining with the necessity of transition of network analysis, to find out challenges and opportunities faced by bank management under internal and external factors. The second issue is to resolve” to which direction does the network transform?”. This paper also summarizes the experiences absorbed by domestic and foreign bank outlets in transition, analyzes common points of successful cases, and based on this index, determines network’s positioning of ICBC in Xinjiang and network’s transformation principles and orienting development goals. How ICBC outlets in Xinjiang transforms is the third question to be solved. The fifth chapter starts from analyzing the role of channel between future ICBC and customers, this also discusses from aspects such as channel relatively complementary functions, network layout modification, adjustment of service process optimization, human resources, evaluation of transition put forward more specific methods of implementation of transformation of ICBC in Xinjiang.Finally, in the context of field research, author thinks that the reform in the large commercial bank is a difficult task, implementation resistance is more, complexity level is higher, thus the problem in network transition needing more attention will be placed at the last part, and this paper analyzes regional distinctiveness of Xinjiang, points out the difficulties in network transition and possible confusion, to improve practicality of this essay and provide a useful resource to the practitioners who implement network transformation.
