Study On The Application Of Quality Management Methods In Polo Different-place-manufacturing Project

“Different-Place-Manufacturing Project” is a new kind of project which Shanghai Volkswagen faced in these years. The unique characteristics of Different-Place-Manufacturing Projects make the original Quality-Management-System not fit quite well. This article made a research to the first Different-Place-Manufacturing Projects– Polo DS Project, and the results are here:1, Based on the original Quality-Management-System of New-Product-Projects, this article conducted a comprehensive analysis to the characteristics of Polo DS Project, to work out the main differences between these two kind of projects. Then it proposed a new Quality-Management-System, and presented two core problems in the process of building the system: one is how to select the key quality indicators, and the other is how to explore a quality controlling plan.2, Selection of key quality indicatorsThis paper adopts the method of Analytic Hierarchical Process, to filter the user requirements which are relevant to the project and quantitatively analyze the weight of each requirement. Then based on traditional QFD theory, making correlative relations between user requirements and manufactory quality, the conversion matrix between user requirements and quality objectives was constructed. Together with the influencing factors of costs and schedule, the key quality indicators were selected.3, Establishment of quality controlling plansAgainst to the high-weight quality indicators, a PDCA module in phases was established to explore a quality controlling plan which is based on continuous monitoring and efficiency optimization. Against to the high-risk quality indicators, FMEA was used in this article to explore a preventative controlling plan to the typical failure modes.
