Recently, influenced by the human resource cost increasing and market uncertainty, the LCD industry and its supporting manufacturers, which have developed vigorously and achieved great success in China, are deeply under pressures. These enterprises are eagerly making re-recognizing and re-developing, finding out some methods and measures which are suitable for them, improving the work efficiency greatly by diagnosis of existing problems and finding ways to improve enterprises’ structures and productivity.Taking SC Company as the study object and starting from the problems encountered in current production, this paper uses analytical tools of Factor Analysis Approach, 5 Why and Ishikawa Analysis to analyze the real reasons behind these problems, and to stress the main subject of transforming the improvement of scene problems into the focusing on productivity improving.There are different ways to improve efficiency of the scene operations. According to SC Company’s conditions of operations and characteristics of products, this paper combines the elimination of waste with the production experience of improving flexible JIT, and combines the agile manufacturing experience of quick transference of information by order with the practice of computer-aided management information system. Based on the reform of fully participating in the scene operations research method, work measurement, process optimization and eliminating the bottleneck section foundation, the production information management system, which can closely match the demands of the scene operations, standardize the order of the scene operations, quickly grasp the status of the field operation, improve the efficiency of the field information transfer, and finally greatly improve the productivity, is developed. At the same time, auxiliary measures, including the perfect of the management, allocation of resources, personnel training and awareness raising, are strengthened.From the initial evaluation results, the application of the system basically achieves the expected results of improving the productivity, but there are also some shortcomings to be gradually perfected in the future.
