The Research On The Factors Of Foreign Trade Of Municipalities With Independent Planning Status

Along with the rapid development of economic globalization and the highlight of urban function, the main body of research on foreign trade also change from countries to provinces and cities gradually.This paper choose the cities under separate state planning as the research object, first reviews the theory of the foreign trade factors.Systematically summarized the point that about the reasons and factors of foreign trade; then analysis those cities from the trade volume, trade structure,foreign capital; and general analysis the factors of municipalities’ s import and export trade, also expounds the mechanism of single planning policy impact on the city foreign trade; then build the 2000-2013 panel data model through the units with test, co-integration test, regression metering methods to test the influence factors of municipalities’ s import and export trade,and analysis the differences of the factors between those cities through the variable coefficient model.The following conclusion is obtained by theory and empirical analysis:(1)GDP and import trade are positively correlated with export trade of Cities under separate state planning, and there is a long-term and stable relationship;the impact of Foreign direct investment and real effective exchange rate of RMB on export is reverse, but lag one year of FDI have a positive effect on export trade.(2)the city import is significantly related to export trade, savings deposit balance of urban and rural residents,the current GDP didn’t promote effect on imports, lag issue of GDP play a significant role in promoting the current imports.(3) Virtual variable P values are positive in the import and export trade model, but the coefficient is very small, which means the implementation of the plan single policy has no significant influence on city foreign trade, and almost can be ignored.(4) we can know that the factors have obvious differences between cities under separate state planning through the variable coefficient model of the import and export trade.Combining the above analysis, this paper puts forward some Suggestions for empirical results:Optimize the structure of product and international market of city foreign trade;Grasp the import and use it to make the export structure develop rationally;Improve the efficiency of using foreign capital city, turn the "extensive" to "intensive";Develop the city’s comprehensive strength, the strong development of urban economy is the basis and backing for reasonable develop the foreign trade;Differentiation strategy, the foreign trade should be combined with the city characteristics, and take the path of "characteristics trade".
