ERP system is the most important project in M&A. By implementing ERP, company can finish BPR and information integration. In the case of F company twice M&A, to analysis the ERP conversion strategy and implement method, to discuss company should choice which ERP implement strategy to achieve company’s M&A Synergies.Within five years, F Company experienced twice M&A. The first is the surviving corporation, the ceasing company- N company had used the same ERP system – TIPTOP ERP, so it’s the process and data conversion is between the homogeneous ERP. In the implementation project compare the steps and methods with ERP suite implementing from the original, can be attributed to the differences with corporate merger, without using external consult but using its own internal staff to re-implement ERP to the ceasing company’s as a project management reference solution.F Company in the second M&A is the ceasing company, the surviving corporation B company use different ERP – Oracle ERP, so the process and data conversion is between heterogeneous ERP, ERP implementation method compare with the first M&A has great disparity in the definition of tools, processes, terminology, it’s brings a higher risk to project management. The implement method compared with the first time, there are many differences for heterogeneous ERP implementation to the ceasing company.Through analysis of the actual case F Company, summarized for each change when corporate M&A, what kind of impact will be for ERP implementation. Exploring the conversion method between the homogeneous and heterogeneous ERP.
