Urban Infrastructure Competitiveness Evaluation Of Hebei Province

Urban infrastructure of the city is not only the necessary precondition for urban economic development, but also the important guarantee for the citizens’ daily life. Since the 21 st century, urbanization process of our country has sped up.Then it creates a problem that urban infrastructure is in short supply. However, we need understand the current level of the instructure construction first before the constructing the city. Therefore, establish a complete set of evaluation system and evaluate the current infrastructure reasonably are very important. This paper establishes a relatively perfect urban infrastructue index evaluation system from the perspective of competitiveness, evaluates and analyzes the level of the instructure construction of 11 cities in Hebei province detailly. Hope it can provide some practicle suggestions on urban development planning and urban construction of Hebei province.First, this study expounds the research background, significance, domestic and foreign research results. In addition, it introduces some relevant theories on infrastructure, competitiveness and evaluation theories. Based on the urban competitiveness evaluation model, the research builds “house”model of urban infrastructure evaluation.Second, determine evaluation dimension, principles and how to evaluate based on the above theories. And then,on the basis of “house”model,build the evaluation system of infrastructure which contains 7 level indicators and 30 secondary indicators.Third, after fully understand the urban infrastructure construction level in He Bei province, the infrastructure of 11 cities in Hebei province is synthetically evaluated and subsystem evaluated respectively by using entropy.At last, according to the evaluation results, put forward the corresponding suggestions on how to enhance the urban infrastructure competitiveness of Hebei province.
