This study aims to explore the association between human resource outsourcing and organizational performance and the role of a mediator the social capital plays in human resource outsourcing and organizational performance in metro industry. The thesis investigates the developmental research hypothesis through related literature and generalizes the research conclusions on the basis of results of statistic analysis, taking Shenzhen Metro Group as the object for empirical research and doing material collection and analysis with questionnaire survey.Through empirical study, the thesis draws the following conclusions: Members of organization think highly of human resource outsourcing, of which the human resource information system and management are the most important aspects.The social capital in organization emphasizes the relationship management and the orgaizational performance also starts to focus on the employees’ personal development.The outsourcing of human resource information system contributes to the accumulation of social capital.The development of friendship between organizational members has a negative impact on the organizational performance.The increase of human resource outsourcing can benefit the improvement of organizational performance.The higher degree the human resource outsourcing is, the higher the social capital should be in organization.The higher overall social capital in organization is conducive to the promotion of the organizational performance.The greater development of structural side and cognitive side, the more energetically the social capital in organization could strenghen the effect which human resource outsourcing has on organizational performance.The research of this thesis establishes the conceptual model of the internal relationship among human resource outsourcing, social capital and organizational performance in Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd. Through the empirical evidance of human resource outsourcing in Shenzhen Metro Group, the thesis conducts tests and realizes the expansion and enrichment of application range and fields in human resource outsourcing, further expanding the theoretical research achievements of relationship between human resource outsourcing and organizational performance. In practice, this thesis provides significant reference and guidance for the organizational performance promotion through human resource outsourcing and social capital in our country’s metro operation enterprises. Therefore, the research of this thesis is of crucial value and significance in theoretical improvement and practical application.
