A Study On Platform Reform Method Of Chinese Leading Enterprise In Ccl Industry

Object of the study is SY company, one of the leading companies in CCL industry in China. Theoretical basis of the study are theories of platform and modular, and related theories including those of comprehensive standardization, standardized platform. The objective of the study is to design a method for platform and modular of SY company. The company ranks second internationally in terms of output. It has put a lot of resources on technology innovation, but it still has a disparity compared with foreign counterparts in terms of product variety and responding speed. The study on the method of platform and modular of SY company to address these challenges is significant not only for the sustainable development of the company, but also can be a reference for the development of Chinese CCL industry as a whole.In this study, the main perspective and method of platform and modular of CCL industry is established based on the research of related theories and perfect examples of platform and modular. According to the perspective and method, a framework is designed of platform and modular of CCL industry. On the foundation of the framework, practical exploration is conducted combined with industry characteristics as well as product and technology analysis. After it is initially verified as feasible, a research on products and technologies of SY company’s competitors is conducted in a similar way, which is a further evidence to support the feasibility of the method.Then from the perspective that platform and modular can effectively continue and further the development of a company, a discussion is conducted on crucial supporting projects and organizational insurance of platform and modular. Prospect is offered on the expected income of SY company through the reform.Research methods of the study are documentation method and case study.
