There are few papers about the economic growth effect of citizenization of rural migrant workers. This paper research from the following three angles: firstly, We research the economic growth contribution of rural migrant workers by constructing a trans-log production function model and using the partial least squares regression we found that contribution of migrant workers for secondary and tertiary industries economic growth is 8.1%. contribution of urban workers to secondary and tertiary industries economic growth is 1.64 times of migrant workers. but, urban workers’ shares of secondary and tertiary industries GDP is 5.52 times of the migrant workers’. However, the gap continues to expand, migrant workers failed to share the achievements of economic development. Secondly, constructing a theoretical model to research the economic impact of citizenization of rural migrant workers with general equilibrium analysis method. We found that the citizenization of rural migrant workers mainly by increasing the human capital and urban scale to increase household income, consumption and economy. Thirdly, we measure the process of our citizenization of rural migrant workers in 1985-2013 by using the "push-pull" model and building the process of citizenization of rural migrant workers time series index system. Then we construct a VAR model by using index data, consumption and income, found that the citizenization of rural migrant workers income and consumption has a positive influence to income and consumption in the long term.
