Statistical Analysis Of The Factors Affecting The Return Or Citizenization Of Migrant Workers

Since the reform and opening up,the rapid development of China's secondary and tertiary industries has led to a surge in demand for labor,which has accelerated the flow of rural surplus labor to cities.However,the migration of migrant workers in China to cities has obvious temporary characteristics.The report of the 19th National Congress specifically called for "to break the shortcomings of the system and mechanism that hinder the social mobility of labor and talents,so that everyone has the opportunity to achieve their own development through hard work." To complete the above requirements,we must first find the obstacles that hinder the flow of people.The article uses the "China Labor Dynamics Survey"(CLDS)microdataset.First,the Probit model and the Logit model are used to study the influencing factors of migrant workers' return from the perspectives of "self-factors" and "objective factors".The marginal effect of the indicator is to specifically analyze the impact on the return of migrant workers.Then based on the above research conclusions,the main factors affecting the return of migrant workers are analyzed again.The propensity score matching method is used to study the influence of various factors on the urban integration of migrant workers in the city.At the same time,according to the previous research experience,they will join Migrant workers' cities integrate relevant control variables.In this way,factors that affect the entire migration process of migrant workers are obtained.The study found that:(1)The social security situation of migrant workers in the city will play a leading role in the entire flow of migrant workers.The migrant workers with social security not only tend to work in the city but also increase the possibility of migrant workers joining the city.(2)The level of education can increase the employment opportunities of migrant workers in the city,significantly reducing the possibility of migrant workers returning.(3)Medical insurance has a role that cannot be ignored in the daily life of migrant workers,and has the most significant impact on the return of migrant workers and the possibility of integration into cities.Through the above research and conclusions,the article puts forward corresponding suggestions from the aspects of increasing rural education investment and improving China's social security mechanism.
