It’s a fact that the current global service industry is growing rapidly, which has become an important driving force of economic growth. As an important role of the modern service industry, the exhibition industry is entering a golden era of rapid development. With the diversified demands of customers and fierce competition, service innovation has become an effective means for the enterprise to fight for a market position and competitive advantages. Open-ended learning process of the enterprise could fully support its service innovation activities. In the exhibition industry, relationship and service are two important factors for the survival and development of the enterprise. The relationship network composed of external partners is a beneficial resource for enterprises,which provides a broad learning channel. Meanwhile, the internal dynamic capabilities provide a forceful guarantee for the absorption, integration and application of learning outcomes. Thus, the research on service innovation of exhibition enterprises needs two perspectives, the learning of external relationship and the internal dynamic capabilities. Then, further analyses are made among relationship learning, dynamic capabilities and service innovation performance.Based on the internal and external perspectives, this paper reviews the current researches on relationship learning, dynamic capabilities and service innovation at home and abroad. Then, combined with the characteristics of the development of exhibition industry, a conceptual model is constructed to show the influences of relationship learning on service innovation performance, in which the dynamic capabilities play a mediating role. In addition, in method of quantitative research, the research conducts the questionnaire investigation about 196 exhibition enterprises from north to south China(mainly including the exhibition organization enterprises, booths design and construction enterprises). At last, analyzed through the SPSS17.0, the data shows us the following main findings:(1) Relationship learning of exhibition enterprises(including information sharing, mutual understanding and relationship memory) has significantly positive influences on the service innovation performance.(2) Dynamic capability of exhibition enterprise(including absorption capability, integration capability) also has significantly positive influences on the service innovation performance.(3) Relationship learning of exhibition enterprises has significantly positive influences on the integration capability. The mutual understanding and relationship memory of relationship learning have significantly positive influences on the absorption capability respectively. Not in information sharing yet.(4) In the effects of relationship learning on service innovation performance, integration capability plays a role of mediator. Absorption capability plays a role of mediator in the influence of mutual understanding and relationship memory respectively. Not in information sharing yet.Through the analysis, it is easy to put forward four enlightenments for managers of exhibition enterprises. First and foremost, to build the service mode of platform, promote information sharing. Second, to improve service contact links, achieve mutual understanding. Third, to widen the channel of the relationship between cooperation, enrich the forms of relationship memory. Fourth, to emphasis on service innovation, acquire staff’s fully support. The innovation of this article is the construction of a new conceptual model about relationship learning, dynamic capabilities and service innovation performance. Besides, it takes exhibition enterprises as research objects and does empirical analysis. To some extent, it complements related theories and enriches the research achievements in the field of exhibition.
