The species and scale of data are increasing in an unexpected speed with the development of cloud computing, Internet of things and social network, including social life among people, e-commerce between people and computer and data coming from machines such as GPS and monitor video. The era of big data is coming. Data has been transforming to a basic resource from simple information. Corporations which can deal well with such big data can obtain huge profit from it. Through the digging and analyzing of big data, the company can make consumer analyses in detail and find consuming preference so that they can realize the personalized marketing and find the potential customers. With big data, the company can enhance the marketing influence, gain the marketing opportunity and make market forecasting. This dissertation will make a research about the big data marketing under the present background.As the source of big data developing, E-commerce has more advantages than others. Internet has become a common stuff for people and it contains much more consumers’ information. E-commerce has been in the front of big data marketing. Alibaba, which is the largest e-commerce platform in China, owns plenty of big data resources and has made great progress in bid data marketing. In order to describe the situation of big data marketing in E-commerce, this dissertation will take Alibaba as an established case and analyze the problem of big data marketing,such as the acquirement of database and the security of personal information. Meanwhile, the dissertation will also give some suggestion according to these issues and make developing trend analyses of big data marketing in the future.
