As the basic force of builder team, the peasant worker is the key factor which determines the healthy and orderly development in construction industry. Recently, construction industry in China is facing severe trouble from labor, seriously threat to the sustainable development of construction industry. On the one hand, the age structure of labor force changes significantly, and the aging trend of labor force is prominent. On the other hand, the contradiction between labor supply and labor demand becomes severe, the labor force is in short supply. Meanwhile, there are a series of outstanding problems in peasant workers, such as longer work time, great labour intensity, lack of training of professional skills and the low social security. For resovling these problems faced by the construction industry and peasant workers, this research introduces the concept of work well-being into the construction industry. Promoting management of happiness to improve the work well-being of bottom peasant workers in construction industry, not only is helpful to carry out happiness management and ensure the legitimate interest of peasant workers, but also can stimulatew their working enthusiasm and initiative, and enhanced industry identity, thus reaching harmonious development between peasant workers and the construction industry.Taking the peasant workers in the construction industry as the research object, this paper carry out research on the influencing factors on work well-being. Firstly, based on the previous study on work well-being of peasant workers, the research summaries the investigation questionnaire’s framework of influencing factors on work well-being of peasant workers in the construction industry. Hereby, combining peasant workers’ characteristics in the construction industry, the questionnaires suitable for investigating the influencing factors on work well-being of peasant workers in the construction industry is drawn up. Then, the thesis applies several analysis methods like Pearson’s correlation analysis, Multiple linear regression analysis, Independent-samples t test, One-factor analysis of variance, to analyze the questionnaire datum, therefore, it can make clear the main influencing factors on work well-being of peasant workers in the construction industry, and determine whether there are significant differences when each demographic variable acts on each dimension. In the end, the paper puts forward countermeasures for promoting the work well-being of peasant workers in the construction industry.The empirical analysis shows that:1)The main factors affecting work well-being of peasant workers in the construction industry are as follows:negative or positive emotions, interpersonal relationship, social security, job-prospect; 2) There are significant differences among these factors influencing work well-being of peasant workers like different age, educational level, working nature, monthly income, working years and whether still work in the construction industry. Therefore, the construction industry should take something as vantage point, such as strengthening the supervision and enforcing the law of social security, strengthen training of professional skills, promoting the transformation from peasant workers to industrial workers, broadening the career development space, creating a favorable atmosphere of interpersonal relationship, improving the negative emotions and maintain positive emotions, so as to promote work well-being of peasant workers in the construction industry.
