Abstract/Summary:
With the increase prices of materials and power, as well as the costs of labor and logistics over the years, the traditional manufacturing enterprise is also confronting with the ever-increasing operating costs and their margins narrowed. On the other hand, the fierce competitions posed by the New Media, such as E-commerce, apps, We Media, Wechat, etc., has been further chipping off the profits of traditional manufacturers, who are amidst the fierce competitions with their peers. Nowadays, as competition of product homogeneity grows increasingly fierce, the concept of product-centered could not meet diversified users’ demands. The dramatic development of internal and external environment in enterprises, for traditional manufacturing industry, is not only a challenge but also an opportunity. The contract between the rise of Millet and the decline of Nokia becomes a chilling warning for traditional manufacturing industry. Internet thinking is a brand new thinking pattern created under the background of economic globalization and rapid development of information and technology, it exerts profound influence on the traditional manufacturing industry in twenty-first century, from the formulation of enterprise strategies to the adjustment of organization structure, from the innovation of commercial pattern to the extension of corporate value chain. Internet thinking, as a huge opportunity for china to transform from the age of Made in China into the age of Created in China, will be a powerful lever for chinese traditional manufacturing industry to catch up with and surpass western developed countries, and an important guarantee to maintain the social stability and build a wealthy and powerful country.The current problem that many enterprises faced with is how to transform with the help of Internet thinking for traditional manufacturing industry.This thesis is mainly introduced by the research method that combines literature review with successfulenterprise cases on transformation of domestic Internet thinking. Apart from the theoretical representation, it also uses cases to make a deep analysis and explanation on the theoretical model of thisthesis. This thesis conducts review on the value chain of traditional enterprise based on the Internet thinking, exploration on the application of Internet thinking in strategy, business and organization, as well as in each value chain link which respectively lies in supply, research, production and sales of the enterprise, and illustrates and summarizes constructive conclusions by taking business cases of successful domestic transition enterprise through Internet thinking for reference, so as to absorb the experience and mitigate the risk for transformation, and conclude the most applicable and prospective transformation path and innovation model in the end by studying on these remarkable cases.
