Research On The Influence Of Supply Elements To The Balanced Development Of Resource-based Regional Industrial Structure

For a long time, Shanxi province has always uphold the strategy of comparative advantages for the economic development of resource-based regions, vigorously developed resource-intensive and labor-intensive industries based on local factor endowments. However, due to the excessive dependence on resources industry development model, the industrial structure of Shanxi province has eventually formed the characteristics of heavy, primary and simplified model of development. There is a serious imbalance between the resource-based industry and the non-resource-based industry:low degree of utilization of resources, the increasing environmental problems and social problems. The extensive development relied on resources has become a bottleneck restricting the transformation of economic development of Shanxi province. During the new situation, Shanxi should attach great attention to the importance role of the supply elements to the process of the balanced development of resource-based regional industrial structure.Under the background of the foregoing, this paper takes the balanced development of resource-based regional industrial structure as the breakthrough point, analysis of the logical relationship between various elements of resource-based economy with the help of econometrics model. The main content of this article mainly includes the following four aspects:Study and analyse both the related theory of supply factors and the relevant theory of balanced development of regional industrial structure, then make a systematic analysis of existing research results. Analysis of present situation and problems of the balanced development of resource-based regional industrial structure in Shanxi province. Analyze the causes of the imbalances deeply. Do the empirical analysis and summarize the paper’s conclusion:1. Divide the industry into the resource-based industry and the non-resource-based industry.2. The capital factor supply level of the non-resource-based industry has a greater impact on the industrial structure. To increase the investment of the non-resource-based industry is conducive to promote the balanced development of the industrial structure in Shanxi Province.3. Then is the labor factor supply level of the non-resource-based industry. We should achieve the harmony development of the employees, enterprise and industry by ways of building an effective compensation management system, pushing employee shareholding plan and so on.4. The technical factor supply level of the resource-based industry has a smaller impact on the industrial structure. Raise the level of the technology innovation of the resource-based industry makes for the balanced industrial structure of Shanxi Province.
