Study On The Re Employment Of Land Lost Farmers In Bayuquan, Yingkou

Along with the new urbanization process, the development of new urbanization process and the continuously accelerated development of citizenization of migrant workers, the government made a requisition on a lot of land for urban economic development and industrial development, which is conducive to promoting economic development in the region, but as a large number of farmers’ land has been expropriated, the farmers lost the their homes paradise they live on, and living standard and survival issues of landless peasants received serious threats without material means of production and sources of livelihood. Moreover, in recent years, with the vigorous implementation of urbanization, industrial parks and other construction projects, the rural land in suburbs of the Yingkou Bayuquan area were expropriated in a large scale, and the number of landless peasants is increasing.Prior to the study on the re-employment problem of landless peasants in Bayuquan area, the questionnaire was designed to take a random sample of 200 landless peasants with the landless surveys, questionnaires interview, and 176 valid questionnaires were obtained. Through data analysis and processing as well as the study on the re-employment problem of landless peasants in Yingkou Bayuquan area, it is found that the re-employed landless peasants of Bayuquan area of Yingkou are mainly engaged in the low-end business; the re-employment of landless peasants becomes more difficult; the citizenization process of landless peasants is slow and other issues. The reason for these problems mainly includes the relatively low quality of landless peasants; greater employment pressure, fierce competition in the labor market; less labor-intensive industries with poor absorptive capacity; the lack of innovation in land requisition compensation mechanism. By the analysis on the status, characteristics, and causes of the re-employment of landless peasants in Bayuquan area of Yingkou, the countermeasures and suggestions on the re-employment of landless peasants in Bayuquan area of Yingkou are obtained: learn from domestic and foreign experience to innovate the requisition compensation mechanism; intensify the training for landless peasants, and encourage their re-employment; establish a sound social security system as soon as possible to promote the citizenization process of landless peasants; promote the development of labor-intensive industries and absorb the employment of landless peasants. Through above countermeasures and suggestions, the re-employment problem of landless peasants in Bayuquan area of Yingkou can be effectively alleviated and solved to improve the welfare and employment environment of landless peasants, enhance the living standards of landless peasants, promote the continuously accelerated new urbanization process of Bayuquan area of Yingkou, so that landless peasants in this area can enjoy the same social security benefits as citizens.
