Research On Improvement Of Production Planning And Control System For Many Varieties Of Small Batch Manufacturing Enterprises

With the development of information technology and the diversification of market demand, product customization requirements has become higher and higher, the delivery has been shorter and cost competition has showed more and more obvious, which bring about that the production mode of traditional manufacturing industry can’t adapt to the dynamic changes of the market demand gradually. It has been a very important problem that the order production enterprises should adopt what methods of production planning and control to respond to market quickly in order to reduce the cost, improve the effective use of resources. This paper takes BJ company, a multi varieties and small batch production enterprises, as the research object, researches and analyzes its production site, production planning and control.It firstly investigates production situation of BJ company, found out and analyzed the existing problems, Secondly, it improves the supply of raw materials,work-in-process inventory,production process and demand forecasting problems with the integrated use of procurement coordination strategy based on lead time discount, SMED, fundamental IE, qualitatively and quantitatively combined with market demand forecasting method. By the comparing of the advantages and disadvantages of the typical production planning theory, it established the production plan and control optimization strategy based on ERP and TOC. The improved methods include demand forecasting method, rough cut capacity calculation method, material classification method and the job shop scheduling method based on TOC. Finally, this text takes a series of measures, such as training, planning departments adjusting, optimizing production capacity demand management and strengthening the communication between departments, to make the improvement strategy gradually implemented, and now they have made great achievements. As a result, BJ company’s delivery rate, the production plan completion rate have been greatly improved, and the rate of inventory turnover increased by 30%.This research indicates that the continuous improvement of production planning and control process can effectively improve the multi varieties and small batch production mode of manufacturing enterprises operating performance,decline the cost of management. Although the research object of this paper is BJ company, it will be believed that the results have universal significance for other multi varieties and small batch production enterprises.
