Study Of MRP On JL Pipe Fitting Company' Multi Varieties And Small Batch Production Planning

Material requirements planning(MRP)is base on the relationship between the product structure at all levels of affiliate and its quantity.which also based on the order's Completion date.In order to strengthen product control and schedule planning.MRP distinguish the items plan date to arrange the planning time,reducing the inventory and labor cost,to make sure delivery date on time.Since December 2014 JL pipe fittings co.,LTD.adopted the SAP MRP system has made some progress.However,we have found that the traditional MRP system cannot satisfy requirement of multiple varieties and small batch production model,rapidly responsing to customer needs and reducing inventory,etc.moreover,the domestic and oversea stainless steel and alloy steel industry's competition is extremely fierce,so the JL pipe fittings co.,LTD.,'s production plan can't help facing so many problems.which includes both the internal and external management problems.e.g.low transparency of production capacity bottlenecks,inaccurate production planning,the actual situation can't fullfill customer's demand promptly,high inventories,orders change frequently and so on.Therefore,analysing and discussing JL pipe fittings co.,LTD's manufacturing planning method,process and system.this paper also bid some solutions to the problems and defects of MRP in the multi variety and small batch production planning of JL pipefittings company.This paper carries on JL pipe fittings Co.Ltd.as a research object of the case,according to the company in MRP in the presence of actual production planning problems in operation and put forward a series of solutions.And through the comparison of some management indicators before and after the implementation of the improvement program,the implementation of effective conclusions.According to the research result,different theory of production management have different advantages,enterprises should proceed from the actual situation and its supporting facilities and processes to meet their management needs,which also improve enterprise's competitive advantage.Some methods proposed in multi species and small batch production plans in this paper make the reference for other domestic enterprises in their production management.
