Product Development Process Optimization Study On Cooperation Project Of P Company And G Company

As a mature industry, audio industry is always very competitive, in the past two years, in order to follow the market trend caused by the internet, audio manufacturers are focusing on the intelligent audio market, as the Internet company’s cross-border infiltration, 2015 is important for audio market, the competition between audio brand becomes more fierce. P company, as a leading enterprise in audio industry, actively cooperate with Internet giant G company, to develop new Wi-Fi audio product, market changes means a good opportunity,but also a great challenge, P company’s product development processes affects the project development,and become the bottleneck.This thesis, based on development practice of the cooperation project, analyze and research the root cause to solve cooperation project development cycle delay problem, find out there are three processes need to be optimized, namely: change management processes, hardware development process, product testing and validation process. Relevant theoretical knowledge and process optimization tools such as PDCA circle, flowcharts have been used. change management process optimization is try to dynamically respond to changes in demand after Kano model implemented; optimize the hardware development cycle is used mainly ASME, ESIA to identify and distinguish value-added and non-value-added steps, then removed non-value added processes, shorten product development cycles; for product testing and validation process issues, a series of countermeasures followed by 5why analysis to ensure the smooth testing and verification, Finally product development process optimization has made the cooperation project on time delivery, good optimization results were obtained.Through process optimization practice based on this cooperation project, process optimization methods implemented to the product development process of P company presents a good example, this optimization method have a certain reference value for traditional audio companies cooperate with Internet companies to develop new products, and help P company to develop follow-up projects as an important reference and lesson learn, we will further improve and apply for other projects.
