Hotel management, one of the top ten popular industry around the world. According to the world tourism organization, China will become the world’s largest tourist destination in 2020, and China will become the world’s largest hotel industry in the world. The hotel industry vigorous development of the contradiction between the talent is in great demand and the supply of high-quality talents shortage has become increasingly prominent. National Tourism Bureau of personnel and education division put forward: "according to the demand of tourism talent market, education teaching and training requirements should be adjusted." Hotel management professional education is divided into college, undergraduate and graduate.Undergraduate training can be engaged in hotel management, hospitality services, teaching and research work. Therefore, to solve the problems of the lack of high quality talents in the hotel industry, it is necessary to start from the undergraduate education.Based on the existing research results of domestic and foreign scholars, this paper analyzes and compares the professional training mode, according to the hotel’s demand for high-quality talents, combined with the current situation of our country’s hotel management undergraduate professional education, and puts forward the corresponding personnel training mode to build a proposal. Firstly, the article expounds the basic concepts of high quality talents, training mode and personality standard. Analyze the current situation of the hotel industry, the hotel and the hotel undergraduate colleges graduates that the key to solving the problem lies in school. Secondly, from the discipline-based, capability-based and character-based perspective compare the existing training model at home and abroad, that the personality-based training model based on the current hotel management undergraduate education guidance. According to the results of the analysis proposed corresponding suggestions: for training objectives, the proposed innovative talents training concept, clear training specifications, the remodeling of the talent training goal; on course system, it is recommended to optimize the curriculum system, module to adjust the proportion; for teaching system, advice note heavy means of information, equilibrium theory and practice, birth; relationship; for teachers, the proposed construction of double qualified team, bringing in and going out. Finally, the conclusion is drawn and the future research is prospected.
