With the vigorous development of China’s construction market and acceleration of urbanization, China’s construction enterprises face a broad market space for development. But at the same time, it also has intensified market competition. In this situation, wanting to survive and develop, the construction enterprises need to change the past model of development relying on labor elements, need to play the role of the various factors of production, attach importance to enterprise management, improve the market competitiveness of enterprises. Labor productivity which is one of the important indicators of construction enterprise market competitiveness has a positive influence to the sustainable development of the enterprise. Labor productivity of construction enterprise is mainly reflected in the project. As the complexity of the project, many affecting-factors and difficult-control, the labor productivity of construction enterprise has been a lack of a comprehensive, systematic research. This study based on present situation of labor productivity development of the construction enterprise, realizes the purpose of improving labor productivity by studying the management of labor productivity.This paper has a research on the management of labor productivity of construction enterprise systematically. First of all, this paper expounds the meanings of the productivity and labor productivity, introduces calculation methods of labor productivity, and analyzes the theory and method of productivity management, so as to lay a theoretical basis on the construction of labor productivity management model. Secondly, according to the literature research, this paper analyzes and induces five aspects of influencing factors of construction enterprise labor productivity, including human resources, management, material input, operating capability and outside environment. On this basis, through the questionnaire, it adopts the method of principal component analysis with the aid of SPSS data analysis software to determine the key influencing factors and sorts them, generating a list of influencing factors of labor productivity, so as to lay a basis on the foundation of management model of labor productivity. Again, through the analysis of the traditional productivity management system, combining the principle and target of labor productivity management, building the management model of labor productivity of construction enterprise. And the management model is analyzed systematically, including:labor productivity planning, determining, estimating, cause analysis, controlling, feedback and improving and running mechanism of the model. Finally, by application, the paper expounds Implementation steps of the management model of labor productivity, analyzes differences between actual labor productivity and planning labor productivity after the application, further verifies the feasibility of the implementation of the management model of labor productivity. From the viewpoint of construction enterprises, suggestions for labor productivity management are put forward.
