Research On The Relationship Between Learning Orientation, Strategic Choice And International Performance Of The Born Globals

With the continuous development of economic globalization, the company which is small and young can get more chance to enter the international market.The number of born global is growing,also the born globals has gradually become one of the focuses in the research about international entreprenerurship. The born globals are becoming more and more important to the emerging markets and economies, and the major contributors to their home countries’ GDP.Because of this,under the dynamic and complicated environment,how to improve the performance of the international business is particularly important. In this paper, we take born globals as the research object,and study the influence of between learning orientation, strategic choice and innovation on international performance. The research can enrich the theory of international entrepreneurship, and also has a certain theoretical guiding significance to improve the international performance of the born globals.First of all, this paper card the related literature of the born globals,learning orientation, strategic choice, innovation systematically,and analyzes the effects of learning orientation, strategic choice and innovation on the international performance of the born globals. On the basis of theoretical review, this paper put forward the research framework,namely: the relationship between learning orientation, strategic choice, innovation and international performance of born globals.Secondly, on the basis of literature review, the learning orientation is divided into three dimensions: learning commitment, shared vision and open mind.the strategic choice is divided into cost leadership, differentiation and focus, and the innovation is divided into exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation. We analyze the relationship between learning orientation, strategic choice and international performance qualitatively and the mediating role of innovation.From this, we put forward the research hypothesis and establish the research model of this research.Then, based on the data acquired form the questionnaire, the reliability andvalidity test, correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out by using SPSS 21 software.By verifying the hypotheses, I draw the following conclusions:first,learning orientation has a significant positive effect on innovation;second strategic choice has a significant positive effect on third, innovation; innovation has significant positive effect on the international performance of the born globals;fourth, learning orientation has some effects on the inernational performance of the born globals; fifth, strategic choice has some effects on the international performance of the born globals; sixth, innovation emerges as a complete mediator between learning orientation and international performance;seventh, innovation emerges as a partial mediator between strategic choice and international performanceFinally, this paper puts forward the shortcomings and future research prospects.
