SY Company Procurement Management Research

The integration of the world economic promotes optimizing of allocation of resources. At the same time, it also brings more intense competition between enterprises. Enterprises competition focuses on the competitive price who can offer, the shortest delivery time which enterprise can provide customers qualitied products. Manufacturing enterprises use a variety of raw materials by different production process in order to ultimately meeting customer needs. And the cost, delivery and quality of material procurement play a crucial role for finish goods which are provided to customers in manufacturing enterprises.SY Company is a nationwide famous enterprise which products automobile sealing strip. With the rapid growth of the company’s business size, the procurement management becomes more and more complex; procurement organization is increasingly large; the timeliness of procurement is getting worse. Therefore, it is necessary to aim at the research of SY Company purchasing management.Based on related theory of domestic and foreign research results, this paper studies on SY Company procurement management research, analyzes internal existing process issue, purchasing efficiency issue and external supplies management issue. And the using of process reengineering, purchasing management related theories and case analysis method makes SY Company procurement management improved.
