The Spirit of Space is a spirit about striving, courage, creativity and dedication that every space workers should have, which also supports the development of China’s aerospace industry. Advanced culture is one of the key elements of core competitiveness of enterprises, as well as the spiritual pillar of the state-owned enterprises.Strengthening the culture constriction is meaningful for the maintaining, reforming and developing of state-owned enterprises. Enterprise culture is the value that enterprises believed in and practiced with. That is to say, the value that enterprise prefers and initiates to put into practice. With the continually development of the reform and opening policy, the state-owned enterprises turned their strategic target to economic benefit. This brings the problems of individualism and utilitarianism at the same time.Military industry enterprises, especially the aerospace enterprises within the industry, play a vital enlightenment role in the culture construction of state-owned enterprises. Based on this theory, these paper discuses the important role of space spirit in the progress of culture construction of state-owned enterprises. It discuses that bringing space spirit into culture construction of state-owned enterprises could solve the problems that might emerge within the process of construction. This paper tries to find out the strategy and solution of the problems along with the progress of culture construction of state-owned enterprises. It focuses on the culture construction and the discussion of space spirit based on some cases that aerospace workers have met during their practice.This paper contains five chapters.Chapter one: Introduction. The literature background and the meaning of this paper are introduced in this chapter. Also, it introduces the research methods and reviews the relevant research in the same filed with illustration of the advantages and disadvantages of those research.Chapter two: literature review. Firstly, this paper illustrates the definition of the space spirit and its functions. Secondly, it discusses the culture construction of enterprises from three aspects, namely, the meanings, features and importance of culture construction. Finally, the paper discusses the link and also difference between space spirit and the cultural construction of state-owned enterprises.Chapter three: the origin and content of space spirit. This paper illustrates the emerging and development of the space spirit, especially its core content. Then, it explains how the space spirit is showed in the aerospace industry enterprises with a case study within the industry.Chapter four: the necessity of introducing space spirit to cultural construction of state-owned enterprises. In this chapter some of the features are introduced. For example the current situation of cultural construction of state-owned enterprises, the lack of creativity and uniqueness of enterprises culture, the weakness that staffs know little about enterprise culture and so on. This enhances the necessity of introducing space spirit to cultural construction of state-owned enterprises.Chapter five: the main content of space spirit that the cultural construction of state-owned enterprises introduces in. This paper illustrates three suggestions about how to introduce space spirit into cultural construction of state-owned enterprises. First of all, it is important to build the spirit of ‘people oriented’. Second, enterprise should develop selfless dedication enterprise culture.Thirdly,enterprise should develop creative enterprise culture. Fourthly, enterprises need to promote a hardworking culture within their enterprise. Finally, unity and corporation should be part of the enterprise culture. Based on current problemsWithin this industry and the reality of enterprises working, this paper gives a solution that can help state-owned company develop healthily and set up their culture successfully.
