Research On Digital City Management Of Small And Medium Cities

City management and people’s lives are closely related, it is directly related to the overall operation of the city and people’s quality of life, with the continuous acceleration of urban modern construction process, China’s urban landscape has undergone tremendous changes, but the lag of urban management is a common problem faced by cities, and has always been plagued by management.To solve the outstanding problems in the current urban management, many cities in recent years to promote the "digital urban management", this new urban management model.With the development of digital and information technology in China, the contribution of the digital to the social development is becoming more and more big.This paper takes Wujiang District of Suzhou city as a case, analyzes the existing digital city management system and operation management, and analyzes the validity of the new model through the case analysis of the new mode of digital city management in Wujiang District of Suzhou city,and to further promote the construction of digital city management in small and medium cities, the problems such as understanding problems, management of the border overlap, disposal efficiency, management team, digital resource operation and other five problems, based on the combination of domestic and international digital city management proposed seven countermeasures, including improving the cognitive level of digital city management, construction of urban public data center, training high-quality professional team, establish and improve policies and regulations, strengthen financial support, strengthen the management of digital urban management, urban management, etc.Based on the reality of digital city management in Wujiang District of Suzhou City, this paper puts forward some constructive suggestions to the digital city management, and also has certain reference value to other small and medium cities.
