Social entrepreneurship is a new kind of business model, which mainly refers to organizations or individuals who use innovative methods to solve social problems. And both social benefit and economic benefit can be achieved in the process of entrepreneurship The social entrepreneurship first emerged in the public sector and non-profit organizations. However, with the development of the practice of social entrepreneurship, enterprises show the powerful advantages and potential in providing social services through social entrepreneurship. Corporate social entrepreneurship refers to the enterprises who improve enterprise’s own ability through the creative integration of resources. The process of creating economic and social value originated in attractive opportunities——corporate social entrepreneurial opportunity identification. It is not only the beginning of entrepreneurial activity, but also the key stage in entrepreneurial activity. The accuracy of identify of social entrepreneurship opportunities can directly decide the performance of social entrepreneurship. This paper tries to explore the factors affecting identify of social entrepreneurship opportunities.The article first summarizes the domestic and foreign literatures about social entrepreneurship theory and social entrepreneurial opportunity identification theory. And the brief summary has been carried on. Then, we study the specific problems, and put forward a preliminary theoretical framework of this study. Based on the characteristics of the research questions, we design a multi-case study. Then initial data collection the two companies are carried out. In the data analysis stage, all data are classified to set up a separate case study database. In the depth analysis stage, firstly we carried on the analysis of the independent case. Then we summarize the factors affecting entrepreneurial opportunity identification of each enterprise. And then through the cross-case analysis, we find out common features of entrepreneurial opportunity identification. Then, through summing up the ideas of influential factors of entrepreneurial opportunity identification, the model of the corporate social entrepreneurship motivation is constructed.In this paper, the case study shows that there are five influential factors of entrepreneurial opportunity identification: prior knowledge; entrepreneurial alertness; cognitive factors; social network and value perception. This five factors not only correspond to predecessors’ theory of social entrepreneurship, but also consistent with the real corporate social entrepreneurship. Later in this paper, according to the research conclusions, we put forward some suggestions for the corporate social entrepreneurship. And finally, we points out the limitations of this research and the future directions.
