After the 2008 world economic crisis, many countries took actions to protect their own economy more or less. Trade with non-efficiency became an invisible barrier receiving attention from international organizations. At this time, trade facilitation plays an important role in the field of international trade gradually. To a certain extent, the implement of trade facilitation can enhance the country’s competitiveness and has positive function to trade competition. In order to make China to integrate into the international market better, to enhance its competitiveness in the international arena, studying on the level of trade facilitation between China and other countries in the world is particularly important.Based on the study of experts and scholars at home and abroad, the paper especially researches the impact of trade facilitation on the international competitiveness of the China. First, the meanings of the trade facilitation, national competitiveness and Michael Porter diamond model are introduced, and the influence mechanism of trade facilitation on the country’s competitiveness is elaborated detailed based on Michael Porter diamond model. Secondly, the trade facilitation evaluation system raised in "The Global Enabling Trade Report" promulgated by the World Economic Forum is elaborated in detail, and the constitution of the enabling trade index (ETI) is specially analyzed. It was put forward to measure the trade facilitation. Respectively, the present situation of China’s trade facilitation and national competitiveness is analyzed. Based on the comparison of enabling trade index (ETI) among countries, we can find the gap between China and the developed countries, and the lack of trade facilitation of China can also be found. The key to enhance the country’s competitiveness is sought by comparing the GCI index raised in the "Global Competitiveness report" promulgated by the World Economic Forum between different countries. Then, the paper analyzes the influence of trade facilitation on the country’s competitiveness through descriptive statistics and regression model. There was a positive correlation between China’s ETI and the growth rate of GDP. Finally, the relevant policy recommendations based on the test results are proposed.
