With the global value chain is increasingly perfect, in addition to cross-border service usually sense the flow path, participate in the global value chain through outsourcing export and in the form of commodities are becoming increasingly clear. The value accounting method is only worth of direct cross-border services statistics, while ignoring the additional in merchandise exports indirect out "intermediate" service, also known as the "double counting", which leads to the estimate errors of international trade interests and competitiveness.Under this background, this paper explains the concept and accounting methods of trade value added and studies the factors of service trade in value added firstly. Based on this, calculating the data of services value added in China’s export trade by WIOD data and found that the services added has an increase of 517% during the eleven years; in segments of the industry, China’s service increase value in three types of industry exports accounted for is low relatively. In addition, The level of service value added in China of the primary industry and the secondary industry exports of domestic service is relatively low and the foreign sector values added were significantly higher, the service value added of China increased by the domestic sector direct part and the domestic sector indirect part, and the direct is higher than indirect;Secondly, studied the competitive advantage of China’s service value added in export trade by RCA index, GVC_participation index and GVC_position index and found that:China’s service value added in export trade’s competitiveness stay in the middle level. China’s service value added in export trade with strong competitiveness in the industry is the traditional service, and modern services has less competitive.. In the global value chain, the GVC_participation index of China is relatively low; specific to the breakdown of the industry, China’s traditional service industry’s GVC_position at a low level. Others like business services, wholesale and retail and accommodation services, other services value chain division status is relatively high. Then, this paper constructs the panel data model to verify the human capital, life level, level of exports of goods and service trade development level increases the effect of value of comprehensive competitiveness for export trade services in china. The research results show that China’s domestic service level, the value of exports of goods and the level of living standard has significant positive correlation with competitiveness, while the number of domestic service workers to increase export trade has a significant negative correlation with the value of comprehensive competitiveness.Comparison with other countries, the live level has a strong influence to the service’s comprehensive competitiveness. The employees of service industry of the sample countries are quite different; the export of goods has a significant role for all countries. Service value added level of domestic in some countries such as India and Germany, has a significant positive impact on comprehensive competitiveness. Relatively speaking, China had a low contribution for the level of development of domestic service industry is still low relatively. Finally, based on the conclusion of the study, paper proposed six policy suggestions:stimulating domestic demand for services, improve the structure of demand, improve the service quality of employees, establish perfect mechanism of talents training and guide the specific industry in the value chain position, play the role of the government in the service trade in the development of the guiding role.
