High employee turnover rate will not only influence the stable of talents, but also increase the human resource cost directly. Turnover intention is the key antecedents of turnover behavior, showed a strong ability to predict turnover behavior. According to the turnover model research, there are many factors that can affect turnover intention.In this paper, we study Z company’s employee turnover intention. Z company is a typical model of small and medium-sized private enterprises in China, which set up 30 years ago in Shanghai. In recent years, high turnover rate brought serious explicit and invisible loss, so it is a very urgent management issues to find the cause of employee turnover intention and reduce the employee’s turnover.The article indicated the cause of the employee turnover through interviews with departing employees. According the analysis and interview, work- family unbalance was found as one of the main turnover reason for the skeleton staff. In view of above, applied research was carried out about family supportive supervisor behavior and work-family enrichment. Finally, some viable measurement and proposal are given from strategy changes, salary, benefits, challenging work, career planning, enterprise culture and system construction, communication mechanism and leadership aspects, to reduce the staff turnover rate.
