With the rapid pace of development of today’s society, along with social progress and development, gradual realization of life value become employees’ goal, nevertheless good mental health is an important prerequisite and basis for the realization of personal value. Mental health is not only a psychological state of mind of the individual, but also related to the society, it may be affected by the environment, human relationships and personal factors, meanwhile mental health also has an important impact on physical health. At the same time, good mental health also plays an important role in enhancing work efficiency. In the research on team, the team performance has been the focus of research topic in academic circles. So what is the relationship like between focus on the individual in team and the pursuit of team efficiency? Due to the specialties of knowledge workers who have strong independence and autonomy, so whether their level of mental health may affect the efficiency of the team or not? This is the topic of this study, on which the existing academic literature does not give evidence. In addition, psychological capital as a method significantly affects the behavior of knowledge workers, whether it can play a good role of mediation between the two relationship? In this regard existing research literature is still deficient, so this study will be added to the studies on psychological capital, which explore the role of relationship.Combining theory and demonstration, this paper firstly discusses existing literature, raises hypotheses using IPO performance model and psychological capital theory as theoretical basis, and construct the corresponding theoretical model; secondly collects relative data from knowledge-based employee through questionnaires, analyses with appropriate softwaresuch as SPSS for data processing and analysis, gives the results of the analysis; and finally examine underlying assumptions and obtain the relevant conclusions, also and gives recommendations on the business practices and future exploration.The main conclusions of this study are:(1) the main effect--knowledge workers as a special group, their mental health and psychological capital have a very significant correlation relationship on team performance; (2) mediating effect--the psychological capital of the special knowledge workers has a significant mediating effect between their mental health and team performance.
