In the era of knowledge economy, talent is the first productive force. No matter whether it is the traditional industry or emerging Internet industry, the overall demand for knowledge-based talent in both quantity and quality will be increasing.In order to achieve the goal of growth, to achieve the expected performance, the enterpricses need focus on the area of personnel management, which can be divided into two aspects: one is the introduction of talent, which is the basis for the realization of the enterprise expansion; the another is employee motivation, which is the propeller of the enterprise expansion. In the progress of transition from the traditional software companies to the internet companies, due to the introduction of internet talent or the internet aboriginals of 85/90s, the age structure of the team also begins to get changed, their cultural tthoughts appear different. It obviously doesn’t work well, if we still use the previous traditional methods to motivate employees.Since Company C is the NO.1 mobile office software company in B2B market, in this paper, based on the situation analysis and employee motivation questionnaire survey, Company C is found certain problems in staff motivation. These problems are mainly known as:impropriety of salary design, unmatched qualification system with salary level, lack of standards in performance management, opacity in the channel of employee career development.According to the motivation theory and the experience of advanced foreign Internet company, some suggestions can be made to Company C in the territory of employee motivation, which mainly includes the following aspects:the position-based salary design, performance management and the employee career path and so on. It is hoped that these suggestions can have some positive effects on the management of employee motivation in Company C, and it can also provide some reference to other Internet companies.
