International Energy Power Transition And States’ Energy Competition In The Process Of The International Energy Situation Reshaping

In today’s world, energy has become an indispensable factor for the development of national economy and people’s livelihood. A country’s exploitation and utilization rate of energy, the perfection of its energy industry structure and the external dependence on energy determine the country’s energy power, and further determine its position in the international energy market. Along with the change of the international energy supply and demand structure, the change of the geopolitical landscape and energy market price fluctuations, the current international energy situation is reshaping, forming a new one whose characteristics are totally different from the old. Factors such as shale gas revolution in the United States, Europe and Russia energy sanctions and the Middle East situation changing contributed to the change of traditional energy supply and demand state and the traditional structure of supply and demand, launched a triangle competition between the United States, Saudi Arabia and Russia to competing on the share of the energy market in the European and Asian countries. Countries begin to readjust their energy strategies, and trying to use different economic and political means to set up their own energy power and real power, which varies in the feasibility. Based on the energy geopolitics, with the replacement of old and new structure as the background, this report will research on pattern of triangle competition in developing energy producer through the three main effecting factors, and talk about the adjustments of energy policies of the representative countries and areas. By analyzing the feasibility of these policies, we will give a summary on the change of energy situation remodeling and the redistribution of power. At last, connecting with the actual, we will research on China’s role and affection in the reshaping and put forward some feasible suggestions.
