Relationship Between Farmland Uses Pattern With Rural Poverty In Wuling Mountain Areas

For the current stage of poverty is highly concerned, and the importance of solving the poverty problem to build moderately prosperous society in 2020. Based on the research results of land use and poverty, the paper studies the relation between agricultural land use and rural poverty in Wuling Mountain, northwest area of Hunan province as the research area. The poor areas of our country are mainly concentrated in the rural region, the 18 th CPC National Congress report emphasizes the importance of poverty alleviation. Land utilization is the basis of the development of social economy, and agricultural land is the most important production material in agricultural production. Selecting the northwest of Hunan province in Wuling Mountain as the study area, the research adopt statistical analysis method to division of poverty village level, and describe the distribution characteristics in different counties; Employing distribution index and information entropy to analyze the distribution characteristics of different types and utilization of agricultural land in county, in order to provide the basis for rural poverty alleviation and to realise optimization about regional structure of farmland in poverty region; Using the grey incidence modelling to analysis coupling effect between farmland and rural poverty and the relationship between different types of farm land and head count ratio. The results of the study have important reference and guiding significance to optimize the distribution of farm land, develop the advantage of agriculture and mitigate poverty levels. The main conclusions are:(1)Types of farmland has a high correlation with rural poverty. The correlation an alysis shows that there is a high coupling effect between the rural poverty with types o f farmland, no matter what level of level of labor force out rate, among the highest correlation degree of cultivated land and rural poverty, and relevance of the economic crops land and rural poverty have the most obvious.(2) Correlation between types of farmland use and rural poverty is different in different counties. The correlation coefficient is highest in Huayuan and Longshan county, which is 0.83. The correlation coefficient is lowest in Shimen county.(3) The spatial distribution of farm land type is influenced by the terrain and other natural conditions. The result shows that the distribution of cultivated land in the hilly area has high advantage, and the mountain area is suitable for the development of grassland, orchard and forest land.(4) The relationship between the type of farmland use and rural poverty is positive or negative. The result shows that strong negative correlation exists between paddy fields, garden plots, land use of economic crops, grazing land and rural poverty, all these can become the advantage industry in the poverty alleviation and development work.
