In the post-industrial era, the added value of manufacturing sector and its contribution to national economy constantly declines. At the same time, service sector is becoming ever more important in GDP growth. Economy of scale gradually turns into economy of service and scope. At present, China is upgrading its industrial structure.Based on theories related to service innovation, this paper studies problems L Technology Limited Company encountered during innovation and analyzes underlying causes from the four dimensions of service innovation model. The author notes that Company L is product-oriented, uni-dimensional in technology innovation.This paper holds that Company L should be user-oriented, let information technology optimize and generate production factors’ allocation, as well as combine non-technological factors. By applying these measures, company L will not only be able to enhance its innovation ability, increase the added value of its products, but also have an advantage in competitive differentiation. These will all be helpful for Company L’s development in future.
