In the changing market environment, enterprises need to keep venturing to adapt to the fierce competition. In the entrepreneurial process, entrepreneurial orientation has become one of the important strategy of many enterprises. Through the implementation of the entrepreneurial orientation strategy, companies remain innovative and have a certain degree of risk tolerance, rely on the advance behavior to obtain first-mover advantage, enabling enterprises to maintain sustainable competitive advantage. Relationship and transformation mechanism of entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance have been important issues in entrepreneurship research. Business model is a kind of conduction of the enterprise value, it can explain how companies can realize the value of the acquisition, and ultimately affect business performance from customer value, internal value, value of cooperation these three levels. On the one hand, entrepreneurial orientation is worth studying the conversion path to business performance, on the one hand, business model can explain the value of enterprise transformation and monetization. This article put business model into the study of entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance as a mediating variable, revealing the way that how entrepreneurial orientation affects business performance. Empirical studies have found:the three dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation--innovation, risk-taking and antecedence--have a positive influence on financial performance and growth performance. Business model has a partial mediating influence on the relationship between innovation and financial performance, risk-taking and financial performance, antecedence and financial performance. But Business model do not have a mediating influence on the relationship between innovation and growth performance, risk-taking and growth performance, antecedence and growth performance.Based on customer value, internal value, cooperation value these three perspectives, the case study summaries seven characteristics of the business model of entrepreneurial-oriented enterprises, including product (service) innovation, brand innovation, leading technology, leading management, leading corporate cultural, positive action, active competition.
