The Study Of The Relationship Between Entrepreneurial Orientation And Innovation Performance

Innovation is the hot topic of study under transitional economy in China at present,It is the intersection of theories of strategic management and innovation management,and also important for economic growth and the developement of enterprise.A large number of Chinese scholars paid more attention to the reasearch on corporate innovation and entrepreneurship,especially after the party of 18.Enterprise innovation promoted the growth of China's economy and injected fresh blood into business growth.At present,Many well-known scholars was standing in the mature economic system.North pointed out that entrepreneurial orientation had an positive effects on innovation performance.It is means that the more innovative strategies and actions,the more can stimulate the innovation ability of enterprises.Those could lead to improve enterprises' innovation performance.In recent years,The relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and innovation performance was increased in China.This paper attempts to study institutional support and corporate ownership structure on the contingent effect of entrepreneurial orientation and innovation performance in Chinese economic transition.North pointed out that formal and informal system will have an impact on business performance,and good system environment will facilitate the improvement of enterprises' performance and accelerate business growth.Therefore,Institution is the essence of entrepreneurial orientation and innovation performance.At the same time,The corporate ownership structure has been changed in present China,From single to mixed ownership.Enterprise resources had different institutional logic and system,which was resulting in the difference of innovation performance.So,The relationship between entrepreneurial orientation andinnovation performance was so complicated under the transformation of Chinese economy that we should use contingency perspective to examine relationship of the variables.There is no doubt that it is meaningful to enrich theories and it's a perfect perspective.This article made a model,including entrepreneurial orientation?innovation performance?institutional support and corporate ownership structure,which was based on resource-based and institution system view.A total of 323 valid questionnaires were obtained for information collection by mature and reliable scale which has been repeatedly verified.Those questionnaires were processed by the mathematical software to test credit validity,correlation and regression of each variable.We made a regression analysis to determine whether the hypothesis is established.This paper proves that the following conclusions: Three dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation has a positive role in promoting innovation performance;Institutional support is a positive impetus to the enhancement of the positive relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and innovation performance;When the enterprise ownership is different,institutional support has different degrees of influence on relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and innovation performance.
