Since 2014, cross-border e-commerce development in China is very rapid. The government has mentioned in many important meetings that they will promote cross-border e-commerce development to give a full play to the superiority of the "Internet+Foreign trade", and to achieve quality imports and quality exports. Currently, cross-border e-commerce is the focus of enterprises. Cross-border e-commerce bring the opportunities of foreign trade to SMEs, but it is the problem that how to start cross-border e-commerce for SMEs. The choice of cross-border e-commerce model is becoming the problem that SMEs have to considered. The government of Anhui province is also actively promote the development of cross-border e-commerce. The government have set up a project about cross-border e-commerce. They will multi-point layout port and customs supervision, and promote the construction of the platform for cross-border e-commerce public services, the platform for customs clearance supervision services, and the platform of inspection and quarantine for risk supervision service. Hefei is applying for a national cross-border e-commerce Industrial Park. All these measures have given a good basic environment for cross-border e-commerce. Because of the limited resources of SMEs. SMEs have many restrictions to develop cross-border e-commerce, and just can choose some cross-border e-commerce model within a limited range. So it’s necessary to research on cross-border e-commerce model for SMEs.This paper takes SMEs in Anhui province as the research object, takes the cross-border e-commerce model as the research content. The text is divided into six parts. First part is introduction about background, significance, content, methods, innovations, shortcomings and domestic and foreign research of the paper. The second part define some concepts and introduces relevant theories. The third part is overview of SEMs in Anhui Province on cross-border e-commerce, including the development of cross-border e-commerce in anhui province, the status and some problems of SEMs in Anhui Province on cross-border e-commerce. The fourth part analyzes the selection of the cross-border e-commerce models of SMEs in Anhui province. First, this part introduce domestic and foreign cross-border e-commerce models. Next, the paper on the comparatively analyses the characteristics of the models, combines the features of SMEs and the characteristics of Anhui province to select three models to study on the problems that Anhui SMEs have faced by using the models. The fifth part from set out actually, introduces three cases about Anhui SMEs make use of cross-border e-commerce model, finds some problems about Anhui cross-border e-commerce model defect and talent shortage. The sixth part make some suggestions to optimize cross-border e-commerce models for SMEs in Anhui province according to the problems of cross-border e-commerce models in Anhui SMEs.The main innovation of the paper is that the paper on the basis of compared the features, merits and drawbacks of cross-border electricity business models, with the features of SMEs and the characteristics of Anhui province to selected three models and study on the problems that Anhui SMEs have faced by using the models.
