Research On Social Service Of Dongting Lake Food Industry Development

Dongting Lake area refers to the south of the Yangtze River, Dongting Lake as the core, including 21 counties economic zone. The terrain is mainly alluvial plain, hilly, basin, with an area of about 31700 square kilometers. The Dongting Lake area is the "land of plenty". The fertile land, convenient water source, suitable climate, has brought the advantageous natural resources for the development agriculture here.Agriculture as the first industry is the basis of economic development, while the food industry is the foundation of the foundation. It not only provides raw materials for other industries, but also related to the national economy and the people’s livelihood. With the development of the times and people’s growing demand, is still dominated by the traditional way of grain production in Dongting Lake area is more and more difficult to adapt to the mainstream of the development of market economy and modern agriculture. The slow development of food scale production hinders the development of economy in Dongting Lake area and the growth of farmer’s income and national food security.This paper attempts to discuss the problem of regional food production from the perspective of social service in the food industry. The empirical analysis shows that the agricultural social service of the Dongting Lake area is generally insufficient, and the satisfaction of the agricultural socialization service is low. The problems such as the shortage of public welfare supply and the lack of market supply are the problems of agricultural socialization service. Therefore, in order to promote the Dongting Lake area grain industry socialization service, we must improve the farmers’ awareness, strengthen the government supply, strengthen the function of agricultural cooperatives, and give full play to the enthusiasm of agricultural enterprises.
