Supervision industry, from small to large, improves the quality of construction projects, and plays an important role in promoting the modernization of our country. The construction industry and the process of the market, has made remarkable achievements, but so far, the construction supervision industry is not mature. Construction supervision enterprise management level is uneven, the core competitiveness should be improved. This situation not only hinders the construction supervision system, also led to the supervision enterprises (construction unit) to the owners of the services provided by the similar, resulting in supervision between enterprises vicious competition to keep the prices down, affecting the development of supervision industry.Based on this background, this paper on the basis of the construction supervision enterprise basic theory and core competence theory, core competitiveness of enterprises for the recognition and evaluation, establishes the evaluation index system and the evaluation method of the core competence of the construction supervision enterprise. This paper combined with the actual situation of Hunan Province Water Conservancy and electric power engineering construction supervision of the consulting company, based on the analysis of the present status of the enterprise, through the establishment of core competitiveness evaluation model, the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis of the current situation of the local style of the core competitiveness of enterprises, and from the internal factors and external factors in two aspects of the status quo of the in-depth analysis. Finally, according to the Hunan Province Water Conservancy and electric power engineering construction supervision of the consulting company’s core competitiveness, the paper discusses the countermeasures to improve the core competitiveness of enterprises, in order to improve the core competitiveness of supervision enterprises, and provide a full range of high quality project management for the owners.
