With the development of economy, in today’s urban life, urban disease affecting people’s daily life, and traffic congestion as a chronic illness of urban development, have a serious impact on the urban residents travel. More and more scholars began to study the solution of traffic congestion. The city’s physical space is homogeneous, but the space behind the material space is different. Through this new perspective of jobs-housing balance, this research want to study its relationship with the traffic jams, in order to enlighten policy formulation and scholars, and to provide an alternative perspective to ease urban traffic congestion in China.Based on the domestic and international research literature and reference comb, summarized the concert of jobs-housing balance as the basis for the study, by constructing jobs-housing detached index model to measure the relationship between the jobs and housing space, and then import the Zhengzhou City relevant data to assess the relationship between the jobs and housing space of Zhengzhou. By the relationship between the jobs and housing space of Zhengzhou to analyze the influences on the Zhengzhou city traffic, and further affect the mechanism of action and influencing factors were analyzed. Finally, the impact of Zhengzhou City jobs-housing balance are three factors: market factors, subjective factors guide the choice of social factors and government policies, respectively come up with policy suggestions to promoting jobs-housing balance, ease traffic congestion in urban from six dimensions, development concept, development patterns, industrial restructuring, planning and management, enhance liquidity and improve housing.
