The Comparative Advantages And Influencing Factors Of Agricultural Trade Between China To Japan And Korea

China,Japan and Korea are at different levels of economic development,and strong complement are showed in economic and trade area.Agricultural trade is playing an important role in which China export agricultural products to Japan and Korea.Due to favorable geographical conditions such as geographically adjacent and similar customs of China,Japan and Korea,China should have unique advantages and great potential in agricultural trade.But over the past 10 years of statistical data shows that,along with the continuous expansion of China's agricultural exports to Japan and Korea,the export share of agricultural products which accounted for the proportion of China's total agricultural exports showed a downward trend.So,traced to the rate which decreased associated with fundamental changes on Chinese comparative advantage to Japan and Korea trade of agricultural products.Through analyzing status of agricultural trade between China to Japan and Korea,this paper found that a high concentration on trade of agricultural products are obvious,which horticultural produce and aquatic products accounted for half parts of the seven categories of agricultural exports.Meanwhile,China,Japan and Korea also have many problems in which agricultural products export share declined and the import and export structure insufficiently matched.This paper use NRCA index and LFI index to measure the classified agricultural trade comparative advantage from inter-industry and intra-industry two aspects which between China,Japan and Korea.The results show that horticultural produce and aquatic products are at a strengthening trend of comparative advantage,while the bulk of agricultural trade are at a weakening trend.This paper use spearman correlation analysis of changes in comparative advantage and export accounting change of classification agricultural products,the changes in comparative advantage can better explain the change in the proportion of exports are confirmed.This paper use TC index to measure the agricultural trade comparative advantage in whole,we could find that the overall agricultural trade comparative advantage between China to Japan and Korea are showing a weakening trend,of which we can explain the root cause of the decline in which Chinese agricultural exports to Japan and Korea.The analysis of factors which affecting Chinese comparative advantage to Japan and Korea on trade of agricultural products can be targeted to increasing agricultural trade comparative advantage.The analysis of the differences between China to Japan and Korea could be made from agricultural production factors,and select the feature typical horticultural produce and the fishery products as the object of analysis,using the panel data model from the point of view of its agricultural production factor on comparative advantage,as a useful complement to the above logical analysis.The results showed that the land factor and the labor factor endowments have a positive correlation with comparative advantage,also the capital element of the electricity.But,the capital element of the pesticide has a negative correlation with comparative advantage.So,adjusting the agricultural structure,increasing the investment with more modern agricultural technology,expanding the scale of the mainagricultural operators and enhancing their qualifications,and strengthening the quality management of produce are useful policy proposals.
