In China, agriculture is in a new period of development from the traditional to the modern business mode, therefore, in order to complete the process of industrialization of agriculture, agricultural enterprises must adapt to the new economic environment as soon as possible, including the transition of strategy, deepening the reform and the creation of modern organization and management system. With the rapid development of network information technology, e-commerce is becoming the mainstream business mode in the information age, which has a very big impact on the traditional production, operations and management. In this economic environment, in accordance to the characteristics and requirements of the e-commerce business, agricultural enterprises should also take the innovation and transformation of traditional business management, and rebuilding agricultural production and marketing system to adapt to the changing market environment and achieve sustainable and healthy development, thereby enabling the majority of farmers and value-chain enterprises to benefit.In recent years, under the policy guidance and the boost of government and financial institutions, more and more agricultural enterprises begin to realize and accept e-commerce, and input financial and material resources to develop their own e-commerce platform, expecting to made rapid progress through the change of traditional business mode. However, many companies find that the e-commerce is less desirable and the operation and promotion process is also ineffectual. The reason is that the unique characteristics of agriculture industry, business mode and market rules, and those enterprises are only blindly follow the trend, but not design e-business mode suited to their own characteristics, and there is no supporting mature and feasible implementation neither.Based on the above background, with the cases on LH Company, an agricultural industrialization leading enterprise engaging in production, processing and distribution of agricultural products, this paper is in a case study on the motivation and processes of the development of one certain company e-business, and to build an agricultural e-commerce mode that consistent with national circumstances, company’s own characteristics, beneficial to long-term development, and can provide reference for other agricultural enterprises. Firstly, the paper gives a brief introduction to the research status and application of agricultural e-commerce at home and abroad, summarizing the e-commerce theory, related management theory and agricultural product e-commerce. Then on the basis of the above background and theory, taking LH Company as a case, the article introduces the company’s traditional business mode, and finds the bottlenecks encountered in the business development process, and by SWOT analysis, reveals the feasibility and necessity of the development of company’s own e-commerce. After that, the article develops overall strategic planning of LH Company agricultural product e-commerce and begin to build e-commerce mode, including internal innovation and cooperation with third-party electronic business platform. Finally, the article analyzes the application of LH Company e-commerce, notes the challenges faced by the existing e-commerce, and gives measures of improvement.In this paper, e-commerce combines with agriculture, and emerging industries combines with entity enterprise. In view of the characteristics of Chinese agricultural sector and unique transaction features of agribusiness, agricultural enterprises should develop e-commerce and construct owned agricultural e-commerce system, and take LH Company as an example to sum up a suitable agricultural e-commerce mode for Chinese agricultural industrialization enterprises.
