Under the transformation environment of China’s economy, an important theoretical and practical issue is where the momentum to promote China’s economic growth comes from? The theory of new-economic growth thinks that knowledge, as an important lever to promote social progress, has been recognized as the most important driving force of economic development. It is the inevitable phenomenon in the era of knowledge-based economy and network economy that knowledge becomes capital and knowledge is capitalized. For enterprises, only those with powerful knowledge capital can survive for a long time. Through improving the overall quality of the production factors and promoting their coordination, knowledge provides tremendous support for propelling the "Mass entrepreneurship and innovation" and "Internet+"in our new normal of economy. Knowledge capital plays an important role in the process of the enterprises’ development. Therefore, it has important practical significance to study the innovation and cumulative effect of enterprise knowledge capital. This paper defines the related concepts of knowledge capital and Triple Helix, and summarizes the research status of Triple Helix theory and the influence of knowledge capital on the growth abilities of enterprises. Then, based on Triple Helix theory and the law of the organization growth, the Triple Helix model which consists of "Goal, Process and Result" in organizational development is constructed. The model explains the dynamic mechanism of continuous knowledge innovation and organizational development through the interaction of "Goal, Process and Result", and reveals the cumulative effect of knowledge capital. Based on this, this paper uses 2012-2014 years’ data of public companies of GEM as the study sample, enterprise growth ability as dependent variable, and knowledge capital and its three elements as independent variables, to establish the driving model of knowledge capital on growth abilities of enterprises. By using factor analysis and multiple linear regression, the influence of knowledge capital and its three elements on enterprise growth ability is explored. The result shows knowledge capital and its three elements influence enterprise growth ability significantly, that is the cumulative effect of knowledge capital is well proven. It also provides a reference for enterprises in terms of knowledge capital practice.
