The global economic rapidly develops along with the increasing of international communication and international conference. Especially global tourism is entering a golden age of rapid development, and tourism assumes an important role in economic development. Therefore, many state governments pay more attention on tourism. Nowadays, many people have enthusiasm more and more for tourism industry. Thailand as a country of developed tourism, its plentiful tourism resource and exquisite traditional culture even attracts numerous foreign tourist to visit. The thesis of this paper is to investigate the impact from foreign tourist on Thailand tourism development. There are five issues in concrete analysis:the status of Thailand tourism development and economic development; the second is to analyze the impact from foreign tourist on Thailand tourism; the third is to analyze behavior of foreign tourist and their satisfaction degree; the fourth is to study marketing strategy of Thailand tourism toward foreign tourist; the fifth is to study Thailand tourism competitiveness in international market, of which part to apply auto diagnosis (SWOT and Porter Five Forces Model analytical methods), this part is to emphatically analyze weakness, strength, and confronting opportunity and challenging of Thailand tourism market, furthermore apply Five Forces Model to analyze basic competition situation of a industry. This paper is provided with a method combined of theory review and empirical analysis to first comprehensively review and assort theory related tourism economic study in academic world, such as:basic theory of tourism economy, Smith’s theory of economic growth, Poter’s theory of competitive advantage and so on. They apply the general theory of tourism theory to Thailand economy reckoned as a particular objective, to construct a indicator system reflected economic structure of Thailand tourism. Trade Competitiveness Index (TC) and Revealed Comparative Advantage Index(RCA) are employed to investigate the competitiveness of Thailand tourism versus East Asia countries signed tourism. The study purpose and realistic meaning of this paper is to further enforce the competitiveness of Thailand tourism and service trade, to enlarge the share of Thailand tourism in international market, and expedite development of Thailand tourism.
