| Zhuhai city was located in Pearl River Delta of China, which linked with Macau and across from Hongkong. It was one of the earliest “Special Economic Zone” of reforming and opening-up. With thirty-year rapid development, China had achieved great achievements in economy. In the past few years, the foreign agricultural technology had achieved continuous breakthrough and amazing development, more and more international agricultural products poured into China. As a result, it does much harm to Chinese local farmers, especially in their income. Our traditional agricultural was confronted with unprecedented challenges.This paper does not only study on the theory of modern agricultural technology, the theory of circular economy and the theory of sustainable development, but also do a summary of the empirical study on the development of modern agriculture in developed western countries. This paper is based on the development of modern agriculture in Jinwan district of Zhuhai city, which discusses the existed problems from all aspects. The paper adopts some study methods, such as combination of practice and theory, case analysis, comparative analysis and integrated analysis with logical reasoning. The specific ideas are collecting and processing the relevant theories of modern agriculture at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the paper also draws lessons and experiences from southern Holland province, cities in southern France, Xiangan district of Xiamen and Zhenjiang city. Additionally, according to the existing present situation of Jinwan district of Zhuhai, this paper deeply analyses the restricting factors on the development of modern agriculture in Jinwan district. Basing on these factors, this paper puts forward some effective policies on how to accelerate the steps on modern agriculture in Jinwan district of Zhuhai city.By adopting comprehensive utilization theory analysis and making spot researches on Jinwan district of Zhuhai city. The paper draws a reasonable conclusion that this area has the following situation, such as poor agricultural infrastructure, extensive mode of agricultural development, dispersion in agricultural management, low-organization, low science and technology content and added value of agricultural products, a few amount of leading enterprises, small scale, weak driving ability, less influence on registered trademark of agricultural products and regional advantages in less play. Besides, the natural environment and location of Zhuhai city and surrounding industrialization degree, which is good for the modern agricultural development in Jinwan district of Zhuhai city. In order to accelerate the space of modern agriculture, government should pay much attention to the following aspects: perfecting infrastructure construction and communal facilities, transforming the model of agricultural development, establishing the relevant system, achieving win-win in industrialization management, improving the science and technology content and its added value, accelerating the speed of transforming the model of agricultural development, adopting the platform of website to improve the agricultural benefits, taking regional advantage to build the characteristic agriculture in Jinwan district. |
