Land use/land coverage change (LUCC) is the universal focus of current international organizations and countries. Regional land use change and driven force research are important components of global LUCC research. This paper takes TM film in 1989 and 2000 issue 2 and ETM film in 2010 issue 1 as data resource, adopts GIS and RS technology, uses land resource quantity change model, land use extension index, single land use dynamic degree, comprehensive land use dynamic degree, space analysis space to make analysis on land use dynamics and space change in Tongxin County and Yanchi County. The result shows:(1) Through multi-band remote sensing data integration, improve spatial resolution of remote sensing image, improve target recognition environment and terrain reflection characteristics, and improve accuracy of man-machine interactive visual interpretation. This paper adopts supervised classification, non-supervised classification and field survey, and the classification accuracy is relatively high.(2) Through comparative analysis on land use/coverage structure change, land use transfer matrix, land use dynamic degree, land use extension degree index, average annual extension strength index, this paper shows each land use type in the 30 years has complex transfer, land use type spatial pattern has great changes.1) Comparative analysis on land use structure, from 1989 to 2010, grassland area of Tongxin County and Yanchi County respectively occupies about 50%, but their change trend has great difference. From 1989 to 2000, grassland area of the two countries represents decreasing trend, but from 2000 to 2010, Tongxin County’s grassland area still represents decreasing trend, while Yanchi County’s grassland area increases sharply and surpasses the grassland area in 1989, the overall trend is increasing. Although water and construction land area of both counties represent stable increasing trend, the proportion is too small, so this paper makes no detailed contrast. Non-sue area overall represents decreasing trend, but in the two research stages of the entire research stage, Tongxin County’s non-sue land area sharply decreases and then slightly increases; while Yanchi County’s non-sue land slightly increases and then sharply decreases. This is the great difference between the two counties.2) Comparative analysis on land use change speed. Comprehensive land use dynamic degree represents that Yanchi County’s land use change in the entire research stage is always more drastic than Tongxin County’s and the drastic degree becomes more drastic with time transfer, while Tongxin County’s land use change degree becomes stable with time transfer. In terms of non-use land, Tongxin County represents decreasing first and increasing second trend, change speed is relatively slow; while Yanchi County’s non-use land change trend represents slightly slow increasing and then sharply decreasing trend, which has big difference from Tongxin County’s. In terms of construction land, Tongxin County and Yanchi County have similarity, their construction land use growth is faster.3) Comparative analysis on land use transfer. Tongxin County and Yanchi County from 1989 to 2010 have relatively big similarity, both represent that grassland transfers into cultivated and non-use land, while non-use land transfers into grassland and cultivated land. As a whole, it represents the trend of third parties’mutual transformation. Construction land major comes from cultivated land and grassland. Difference represents that the entire area of Tongxin County’s grassland decreases, non-use land area increases; while Yanchi County is on the contrary, grassland area increases, non-use land area sharply decreases.
