The general perception of workers towards the degree that their leaders value their contribution on work and care their welfare is called leadership support feeling. Based on social interactive theory, leadership support experienced by workers has significant influence on workers attitude and behavior during work. Therefore, there is some reference value and application value for the development of enterprises and society in China to carry out the research on leadership support feeling. As lacking development of the research on measuring leadership support feeling, in this study the employees in China are the subjects and a questionnaire of leadership support was prepared. We analyzed the characteristics and current situation of leadership support feeling in China and preliminary discussion was made for the effect of leadership support. The results of this study are as follows:(1)The questionnaire of leadership support in China includes five dimensions demonstrated by 21 questions namely "share information" (4 questions), "care about life" (6 questions), "support work" (4 questions) "safeguard interests" (3 questions), "value and recognize" (4 questions). The interpretation ratio of these five dimensions is accumulated to 65.10% and the interpretation ratio of each sub-dimension is 6.84%-12.60%.(2)The reliability (content consistency factor and split-half factor) and validity (content validity and structure validity) are in line with the standards of psychology measurement. After confirmatory factor analysis, the structure equation model shows that the models of these five factors fit well.(3)By measuring the existing condition of leadership support feeling in China and by difference test on demographic variable, it is found that the leadership support feeling is generally not high. The aggregate score or some dimensions of leadership support feeling varies from sex, age, working age, nature of a company, education background and position.(4)Moral leadership is significantly related to leadership support feeling. Four dimensions of moral leadership have clear function for predicting leadership support feeling.(5)Leadership support feeling influences workers’input to their work and such three dimensions as "care about life", "support work" and "value and recognize" have significant effect on predicting leadership support feeling.(6)Leadership support feeling plays an intermediary role to some degree between moral leadership and workers’commitment.
