Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of The Management Of Tourism Security In Guangdong

Tourism is related to the basic necessities, such as food, shelter, transportation, travel, shopping, pastime, and that will increase the complexity of the tourism security. In recent years, thanks for the increasingly fond of making a journey by the Cantonese and the promotion of tourism in Guangdong, Guangdong Province took the top spot in various data of tourism, which would cause more problems of the tourism security. Although getting better with the effort of Guangdong Provincial Government, it is necessary for Guangdong to further improve the management of tourism security, which is not good enough, compared with some developed countries or other provinces for example. A more prosperous market sets higher demands upon the management of tourism security in Guangdong.This dissertation focuses on the management of tourism security in Guangdong. Firstly, on the basic of relative studies on the theory about the management of tourism security, this paper will construct a theoretical framework. Secondly, through the statistic analysis of several tourism safety accidents happened in recent years, the features and causes of the accidents will be found. As a summary of tourism security situation and tourism security management, the main measures will be summed up. Third, through the case analysis and the interview material, the problems of tourism security in Guangdong will be sorted out, including the issue of equipment safety inspection, information publishing, public facility, contingency plans, etc. This section also focuses on finding the reasons from the legal codes, management system, resource guarantee, NGO, and so on. Forth, for the improvement of tourism security, this chapter will show experiences of other countries (America, Canada, and Malaysia) form their good practice. Fifth, for better effect and more efficiently, some suggestions on what should be improved in the management of tourism security will be come out.
