Research On Logistics Efficiency Of Ports Surrounding The Bohai Sea Based On SCOR

As entering the 21 st century, the process of international economic integration was further accelerated, and global trade was much freer, geographical barriers between countries and regions were further ablated, the economic and trade was further developed. The network technology and information communication technology make a strong push in both the number of trade and the rapid growth of trade frequency. Port logistics is an important means between countries, occupying a very important position among the trade. Meanwhile, as a trading hub, the benefit port takes for regional development can’t be ignored. As one China’s five major ports of the cluster planning, Bohai Sea port cluster has the support such as more developed economies, prosperous international trade hinterland, and ports in the Bohai Sea region have been more major ports during these years, the development is relatively mature.What’s more, economic development really helps Bohai Rim and extension line hinterland areas. Because of the impact of the economic crisis, international trade was shrunk; port operation also had big problems, especially the port logistics efficiency. As the core of port operations, there is still a wide gap between logistics and operational efficiency of the port in our country and the international advanced level, High operating costs, business model obsolete decline in business volume makes shortcomings much more obviously.Based on this, the article specifically choose Bohai Rim port cluster as sample, and mature DEA efficiency measurement model as the tool. First of all, we analyzed samples were selected for overall efficiency. Meanwhile, the article is based on consideration of port efficiency and chooses supply chain operations reference model as the reference, select the level of port logistics operations, from the perspective of supply chain to decompose the port logistics operations, and establish the appropriate evaluation system again, for another different processes analysis. Finally, the article get different port shortcomings compared to other ports on different processes, and analyses the input and output among relatively ineffective ports. For the problems we get from the result, the article summarizes the experiences and lessons of the benchmark port operations, and put forward many measures for port logistics to improve the efficiency.
